Leather and stitching are top tier. I had a little trouble trying to figure out how to attach the lock and key(instructions would be nice lol). DEFINITELY should add matching wallets. Buying another very soon!
This is my first Bag Icon purchase and I am very pleased. I bought the Chartreuse. At first glimpse I thought it would be too small but all of my must haves fit perfectly. It has a feminine, classic feel that can be hard to find. Seneca’s personal touches make it even more of a connection and less transactional. Looking forward to carrying it when wearing my linen pants outfits and summer dresses.
I absolutely love the look of this bag, but unfortunately, I won’t be carrying it anymore.
I made the mistake of removing the protective plastic before trying it with my belongings. Once I loaded it, I realized just how heavy it is. I wish I had reviewed the return policy beforehand because, after removing the plastic, I was no longer able to return it. That’s $260 plus tax that I can’t get back.
I’ve only carried the bag twice, and it now sits boxed up in my closet waiting to be sold. I don’t carry many items nor have I had this issue prior, yet the bag is still uncomfortably heavy. I would not recommend using it for a full day of shopping, especially if you plan to wear it on your shoulder or as a crossbody.
That said, I think it would be a great bag for special occasions or shorter outings where you won’t be carrying it for long periods.
The bag is classy, beautifully structured, and very well made. However, if you don’t like heavy handbags, I would strongly encourage you to consider that before purchasing. Its weight alone makes it impractical for everyday use.

I took a chance on this bag as I have not previously purchased anything from this company and I really like it! This bag is very well made and quite stylish. I love that it zips and keeps my things secure, and it's the perfect size for everyday wear. All in all, a great summer bag!
The grandmare bag is beautiful, the leather and finishing is top notch, but unfortunately I don’t like the design. So I have to return it and get something else from the bag icon. Thanks Seneca for the hand written note!

Love this bag, size is great, fits phone, sunglasses and wallet plus some. Color is beautiful, it’s a bright pink, perfect for spring and summer. Nice pebbled leather, my only complaint is it’s not quite square, the flap doesn’t quite line up with the body of the bag and the handle is a little wonky but not noticeable unless you’re looking closely. All in all a lovely bag, I will buy another color.
